What is Teachers Helping Teachers?

Teachers Helping Teachers is a non-profit organization of educators committed to sharing ideas, resources and innovations with teachers in the developing world, fostering and supporting international relationships and creating sustainable educational programs.

We have partnered with Free the Children to service the schools they have built. FTC, also a non-profit organization of children helping children, specializes in sustainable development in countries such as, Kenya, Sri Lanka, India, Ecuador, Sierra Leone and China.

We are putting together a team of 20 educators in a pilot program to travel to Kenya this summer to present a professional development program in remote communities in the Maasai Mara and communities in Nairobi.
